Place the paper pattern precisely following the first design.
Notice that I have cut a "window"
where the two designs should meet.
Click on the picture to take a closer look


Put back the hoop and bring down the needle
to the central point of the design
like you did for the first design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the meeting point of the 2 designs
before finishing the scallop.

 

 

The end result is perfect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The cut border is now ready to be used.   Now it's up to you !

An additional tip for Pfaff users;
especially for those who don't have the 225 x 140 (9" x 5½") hoop.
A guide for repositionning can be created on
the transparant squared RHODOÏD for the 120 x 115 (4¾" x 4½") hoop.  Because of its shape, marks have to be drawn at the top,
at the bottom, at the left, and at the right side !
